So it was one summer afternoon when I found myself walking down the back alleys in Shek O with a dear friend. If you have been following this blog, you’d know that Shek O is one of my favorite beaches in Hong Kong. Exploring Shek O has revealed one of its best hidden gem, the Black Sheep Café, which was a distance away from the sandy beach.
The One With BBQ Day Out At Shek O Beach
Hello there! It has been ages since I last blogged. Did you miss me? I sure do miss blogging. I keep thinking that I have lost my blogging mojo… and how do you get it back? Why, just by starting to write again, of course.
I have been busy with life. So much has happened, and I scarcely had the time to blog about them. But everything can start somewhere, no? So let me start with a typical HK outing which I did just last Sunday – a barbeque (BBQ) day out at Shek O beach.
Despite the gloomy weather and less-than-encouraging weather forecast, my friends and I decided to try our luck and went ahead with our plans to have a BBQ day out at Shek O beach.
It was proven to be a great decision.
The One With A Sunny Saturday At Shek O Beach
In a bid to visit more places in Hong Kong before winter truly ends and the wretched summer begins, I took the road again with some travel buddies to visit yet another beach in Hong Kong; this time round to the famous family beach of Shek O, located to the east of Hong Kong Island.
Shek O Beach, together with Big Wave Beach located about two km away, was famous of its big wave and clean beach (of Grade 2). During summer the beach will be packed with families and wind surfer; yet another reason to visit during non-summer months.
