The One With Riquiqui Dessert Bar

Riquiqui Dessert Bar

There are many reasons why you will overspent at Riquiqui (pronounced, means tiny in French).

For one, there is no price listed on the menu. You can just the set of three desserts, which starts with…. something, and then some main course you choose from the board, and then ending with… something.

That’s how bad I am with dessert.

But that doesn’t stop me from appreciating perhaps the best dessert I had in my life. We didn’t have the set meal (the priceless menu kinda scares us), but we shared a warm amatula (?) chocolate cake with sourcream ice cream, and a raspberry Napoleon. It was HK$100 per main, but it was worth single penny.

Of course, it also helps that the chef herself, Amanda was at the helm tonight and charmed her way into our hearts with her bubbly self, converting two strangers into fan boys in mere minutes.

Riquiqui needs to be experienced at least once in your life.

P.S. Pardon the bad pics. I only had my iPhone on me.
