Be Safe, Not Sorry

Dec 1 marks this year’s World Aids Day. What does that mean to you?

Most likely, nothing. An astonishing number of people around me care less about if the ass(es) they are about to plunge into will condemn them to a life of misery, or not.

That is from personal experience, of course.

I am not afraid to admit that I am no angel when it comes to sex. Hence I made it a point to always, always be protected no matter who I do it with, and to have the anonymous check at least once a year.

It is good to be informed, you know? It gives me (and whoever I happen to be with at that time) a peace of mind.

One Singaporean is identified to be HIV positive everyday. What makes you think you couldn’t be next? Unless you are from Krypton and your only poison is those little green stones, you better think again.

So the next time you find tearing open that Durex foil is too much a hassle, think again. For all you know that might be the last time you get a piece of ass.

Be smart, not sorry. Cover up, brothers.
